Dr. Robert T. Tucker is the founder and Executive Director of New Life Spirit Recovery. In addition, he holds the position of Vice President of the Association of Christian Alcohol and Drug Counselors, a nationally accredited counselor certifying agency for the State of California. He is also the Administrator of two satellite institutes in Orange County where he teaches the recovery process to equip future counselors. He is co-founder of Gracious Giver Church in Huntington Beach, the owner of New Life Spirit, Inc., a sober housing management corporation, and the co-owner, President and CEO of Armorr House Recovery, a medically managed residential detox facility. Dr. Tucker was awarded a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), as well as a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from the ACADC College of Addiction Studies, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in alcohol and drug counseling from Trinity,a Faith Based University.

- Masters Level - Registered Addictions Specialist (M-RAS) from Breining Institute, College for the Advanced Study of Addictive Disorders. State approved, Nationally (NCCA) Accredited
- Masters Level - Certified Drug, Alcohol and Addictions Counselor with Marriage and Family Counselor Endorsement (MDAAC) (MFC) from the Association of Christian Alcohol and Drug Counselors College of Addiction Studies. State approved, Nationally (NCCA) Accredited
- National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC) from the NAADAC Certification Commission.

Dr. Tucker is known for his love for those afflicted with addictive behaviors, and his in depth understanding of the recovery process, Biblically known as deliverance (transformation), which has the ability to permanently lead men and women away from their destructive behaviors. His teaching, preaching and counseling is founded entirely on Biblical principles, with an understanding of the physiological and psychological aspects that affect behavior.
