Codependence Programs and TrainingClick here
Wherever addiction occurs, often the people trying to cope with it and overcome it deal with their own challenges. Codependence is widely misunderstood, and rightly so. There is information out there that contradicts the Christian faith. Yet, through a biblical perspsective, codependence is very real, and entails an entire system of toxic relationship skills. It can be overcome by understanding and embracing God's love and intimacy. Learn about all our resources, including treatment, workshops, workbook and training opportunities. Article and Bible Study Resources

Read our articles and free bible studies that cover a variety of topics, including addiction, the bible and the 12 steps, recovery and family dynamics. Feel free to share these with small groups.

Counselor training and certification  Click here
Association of Christian Drug & Alcohol Counselors
We work in partnership with ACADC to train and certify church leadership, lay people and anyone with a calling to work in the field of drug and alcohol counselor.  This means you can have the necessary knowledge and training to know how to help a person struggling with addiction.

ACADC is one of nine certifying agencies in the state of California, and the only one that teaches from a Christian perspective. Our very own Dr. Robert Tucker is the president of this organization and is the Administrator of the Fountain Valley location. Please call us for more information.

Intensive Drug & Alcohol Treatment  Click here
We offer a 30, 60 and 90 day treatment program that incorporates an in-depth biblical approach, while also deals with the thoughts, emotions and behavioral patterns of the addict. This program addresses the core roots that drive addiction, and offers the basic tools to live life free from addiction permanently. Men and women programs are available.

Family Treatment Program   Click here
Family members of our drug and alcohol treatment clients are encouraged to attend family workshops that teach and educate them about the nature of addiction and how they can get the support they need. These workshop are held locally at our main location. But we encourage ANYONE who has an addict/alcoholic in recovery to become involved. Availability to attend workshops are limited to availability, please call us for more information.

How You Can Get Involved

GET HELP. If you struggle with addiction, get help now! Your life is precious and valuable - God loves you and has a plan for your life. First, above anything else, get the help you need today! If you don’t know where to go, please call us. We offer an affordable fee-based program, but can also refer you to other appropriate programs or resources if necessary. There are many 12-step resources available immediately in your community.

LEARN HOW TO HELP SOMEONE STRUGGLING. If your family members struggles with addiction, learn how to ACCURATELY help them. Educate yourself about addiction and learn when and where you can get help. While you can’t make an addict stop, you can set some healthy parameters for yourself and the person with the addiction. Your ability to appropriately intervene could be life changing.

GET EQUIPPED. If you are in a church family,  find designated leaders who understand addiction and recovery, and ask for ways you can become involved. If your church is in need of a trained counselor, ask about becoming a certified drug and alcohol counselor. This will give your church the ability to adequately serve the struggling addict/alcoholic.

PRAY -  If you don’t know how you can help, your prayer is always enough. We urge you to pray individually and in community. We have a prayer team that will pray over  your requests. E-mail them to nlsrprayer@gmail.com. If you want to become a part of our prayer team, please contact us.
