Addiction Treatment at
New Life Spirit Recovery
No one aspires to be a drug addict or alcoholic. Each person that enters into our treatment program has a story - filled with heartbreak, bad choices and failures. But each person also has a dream - of what they desire their life and family could be. At New Life, we understand that as precious children of God, every person has the opportunity to be redeemed. God is a God of second chances who is able, if we are willing, to take the very places of failure and turn them into places where He can reveal His glory. Thank God we see this reality everyday.

Walking in freedom is a journey and a process, not necessarily an instant zap. We are here to assist in the first phase of this process, and to equip men and women with the tools, in the power of our Lord, to continue onward. More than anything, they will need to replace the comforts found in the bottle, in the drug or in the person with the comfort and power of Jesus Christ. If that transaction transpires, there is truly no limit to how God can redeem and use that person for the purposes of the Kingdom of God.
Are you trying to help someone struggling with an addiction? Prayer is your first and most effective tool. Let us pray with you.
Father God,
I come before you to acknowledge your power and authority in my life. In the viscious cycle of addiction, I have watched my loved one's life be destroyed. I know you have more for _____, and more for our family. I also see that despite my efforts, I do not have the capability to overcome the horrible reality of addiction. I pray that you can bring the resources into our life - in whatever form that might be - to walk ___________ into freedom. Help me trust you more than myself. Help me to learn how and when to help, and when to let go. I can't do it. Thank you that you can - that you are able, and you are powerful.
In the precious name of Jesus,
A-men
